It all started on November, the 15th, 1949 when a small, one-year old fashion workshop, became the FLACĂRA clothing factory. The very same year, FLACĂRA enlarged its production facilities by building 1232 sqm. of industrial plants. Shortly, the area was provided with social establishments, such as nursery, kindergarten, canteen and medical assistance room.
The managers of FLACĂRA were constantly concerned in developing and improving the factory’s production technology, the main investments ended up in some gradual phases, namely in 1969, 1973 and 1986.
At first, FLACĂRA was specialized in military ready-made clothes and later on it turned to produce clothes for women, men and children, for both internal and external markets. In 1989, FLACĂRA counted 2500 employees and about 50% of its production was exported to Eastern European countries, USA and Canada.
1997 was the year when FLACĂRA main pack of shares was sold to LEOTEX INDUSTRIES.
2004 was the year when the name was changed into LCS Conf.
2006 was the year when LCS Conf .s main pack of shares was sold to JOLIDON.
